Common pricing questions
What happens after my first year at the Founding Member rate?
You renew at the standard annual rate ($29/yr Standard, $49/yr Household). We'll email you 30 days before renewal so there's no surprise. You can cancel any time before renewal.
Can I downgrade or cancel?
Yes. Downgrade to Free any time — your data stays. Cancel any time — you can export everything to PDF first, and your account stays read-only until you decide whether to reactivate.
Is my data really encrypted?
Yes. Documents in the FileVault are end-to-end encrypted before they leave your device. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (12 rounds). Data at rest lives on Neon's SOC 2 compliant encrypted PostgreSQL infrastructure. TLS in transit via Cloudflare.
How many AI photo scans do I get?
Every new account gets 5 free scans. Additional scans start at 5¢ each and never expire — buy a pack, use it whenever.
Can a spouse or family member share the account?
On the Household plan, yes — shared access is included. On Standard, one login per account.
Do you offer refunds?
