1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DwellRecord ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. DwellRecord is operated by IDLogix Consulting LLC.

2. Description of Service

DwellRecord is a web-based application that helps homeowners track home improvements, document household assets, manage warranties, schedule maintenance, and generate PDF reports. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

  • DwellRecord offers Free, Standard, and Household subscription tiers.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed annually through Stripe.
  • Founding Member pricing is available for accounts created before January 1, 2027, and applies to the first year of subscription only.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page or Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at [email protected] for refund requests.

5. Your Data

  • You retain full ownership of all data you enter into DwellRecord.
  • We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
  • You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
  • You may export your data at any time via PDF reports.
  • You may request full deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

DwellRecord is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. We do not provide tax, legal, insurance, or financial advice. The cost basis calculations, asset valuations, and reports generated by the Service are tools to assist you — they should be verified by a qualified professional before use in tax filings, insurance claims, or legal proceedings.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DwellRecord and IDLogix Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or inaccurate tax or insurance calculations.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
